About Us

Uxbridge Secondary School is located in Uxbridge, Ontario and serves students in Grade 9 through Grade 12.  Originally called Uxbridge High School, the original building was erected in 1923 and has undergone five major additions since then in 1965, 1979, 1985, 2003, and 2013.  The building as it stands today has 81 classrooms, two gymnasiums, a cafeteria, library, and numerous staff and maintenance areas.  There are also currently two portables on site.  As of September 2020, Uxbridge Secondary School (USS) has a student population of 1020 along with 84 teaching and support staff.

Please remember that due to COVID-19 restrictions visitors are not to be welcomed at the school.  If you wish to meet or contact a staff member, contact the school office at 905-852-3391 to request a meeting.

 On behalf of the teachers and support staff of Uxbridge Secondary School, it gives me great pleasure to welcome you to USS. Uxbridge Secondary School is an integral part of the Uxbridge Community. We have a fulsome academic, athletic and arts program. We encourage you to become involved in the school community as it will enhance your learning. Together with the strong support of the administrative staff, our School Community Council and our community partners we will do our utmost to ensure you attain success and have the skills to achieve your chosen pathway.
